DAULTANA, WALI, MUFTI RESENT POSTPONEMENT
Statement by three parliamentary group leader on March 22, 1971
Leaders of three parliamentary groups in the
National Assembly today disapproved of the postponement of the inaugural
session and said they still believed that the NA was the only forum where
national issues could be discussed and their solution found.
The three group leaders are Khan Abdul Wali Khan of
the NAP, Mian Mumtaz Mohammad Khan Daultana of the Council Muslim League and
Maulana Mufti Mahmood of the Jamiat-i-Ulema-i-Islam.
